Crestline Hotels & Resorts Appoints Four
to General Manager Posts

 
McLEAN, VA, September 15, 2003 - Crestline Hotels & Resorts announces the promotion of Ed Dixon to General Manager at the Clarion Barceló Hotel near Detroit Metro Airport. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. manages the hotel and Mr. Dixon will oversee all daily operations at the property.

Mr. Dixon joined the Clarion Barceló Hotel in June 2000 as the Director of Human Resources and has been an instrumental leader on the hotel�s Executive Operating Committee.

Mr. Dixon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human, Environmental and Consumer Resources from Eastern Michigan University and his Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Jeffrey Johnsen named General Manager at the Jacksonville Marriott Hotel in Jacksonville Florida.  Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc manages the 256-room property. 

Mr. Johnsen joins Crestline after most recently serving as General Manager for the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort in St. Augustine Florida.  His experience in the Florida market also includes Executive positions at the Amelia Island Plantation Resort, Indian River Plantation Resort (now the Marriott Hutchinson Island Beach Resort & Marina) and he was formerly a Marriott general manager with Interstate Hotels & Resorts.  Mr. Johnsen attended high school and college in Orlando and began his hospitality career there with Rosen Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.

Ken Hammac appointed General Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown. Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. will manage the hotel.  The property is scheduled to open in March 2004. 

Mr. Hammac most recently served as General Manager at another Crestline managed hotel � the Clarion Barceló Hotel near the Detroit Metro Airport.   His extensive experience in the greater Detroit market includes having worked as the Detroit-area District Manager of Extended Stay America, as well as experience at the Embassy Suites in Livonia and the Hilton Suites in Romulus.  Hammac began his career in the hospitality industry at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dearborn, MI.

Sami Zeitoun named General Manager at the Wyndham Hotel in San Diego, California.  Crestline manages the 180-room hotel for Hospitality Properties Trust (HPT). 

Mr. Zeitoun joined Crestline in 1997 and most recently served as the Assistant General Manager at the Holiday Inn on the Hill in Washington DC.  He began his hotel career in 1989 with Hyatt Hotels and held a variety of management positions with the company along the East Coast and in Wisconsin.
