   HITEC 2003 Exhibit Space Full; 606 Booths Representing
265 Companies / Waiting List Started

AUSTIN, TEXAS; June 6, 2003 - The 2003 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®) is sold out, with 606 booths representing 265 companies. A complete list of exhibiting companies is available on the HITEC web site at www.hitec.org, along with online registration and a detailed schedule of educational programming. HFTP is now placing companies on an exhibitor waiting list that will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of HITEC exhibits has increased significantly from 252 booths in 1993. HITEC attendance has also greatly increased from its small beginning with approximately 38 attendees for its 1972 debut, to 1,825 in 1993, to a planned attendance of about 5,500 for this year�s show in New Orleans on June 24-26 at the Morial Convention Center.

In addition to the latest technology available to the industry, HITEC 2003 will also offer more than 60 education sessions presented by 100 of the world�s foremost hospitality technology experts. This year�s sessions range from topics such as What to Look for When Purchasing High Speed Internet Access to a Club Technology Boot Camp to Customer Relationship Management.

HITEC, produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), is the most comprehensive meeting of its kind in the hospitality industry. It addresses the use of technology in the industry and brings together buyers and sellers of technology under one roof. About 5,500 hospitality executives and exhibitors from around the world are expected to attend this three-day conference and exposition. In addition to hearing the industry�s leading speakers, attendees receive practical information at Monday�s �What to Look for� training sessions. The exposition includes companies providing technology equipment, services and products in the hospitality industry.
