Linda Adams passed away at her home in Laguna Niguel after a brief illness. For those of us who had the privilege of working with her, she encompassed the very definition of the ideal Public Relations executive: she saw to it that her clients gained maximum exposure. Yet, unlike so many in her profession, Linda never allowed herself to share the limelight with her clients or employers. I worked with Linda at Halekulani. She also opened the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel and was the Corporate Director of Marketing for Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts. A talented writer, an avid skier, wine connoisseur and a competitive tennis player, Linda most recently operated her own marketing and public relations firm handling such clients as the St Regis Monarch Beach and the Island of Catalina. She died as she had lived, with utmost discretion.
