Based in New Jersey, Barber will be responsible for developing new corporate business from North America.  In addition, he will also support the sales efforts of the Carlson corporate sales team in North America.  Carlson Hospitality is the parent company of the Radisson brand in North America, and has a licensing agreement with Rezidor SAS Hospitality, the parent company of Radisson SAS, which provides Rezidor SAS with exclusive rights to develop the Radisson brand in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Before joining Radisson SAS, Barber was a sales account manager for US Airways, responsible for achieving sales goals for a $35 million territory in Boston, Cambridge and Worcester, Mass.  He also has hotel experience as a guest service agent and concierge at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel and as a manager at a Holiday Inn.

Barber is a 1998 graduate of Niagara University with a bachelor of science degree in hotel and restaurant administration and a concentration in travel and tourism.

Rezidor SAS is the master franchise holder for the Regent, Radisson SAS, Country Inn and Park Inn brands in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).  The company currently operates 122 Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts with a further 38 properties under development. The Radisson SAS portfolio now extends to 39 countries.
