for 2003
Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association Board of Directors Elected for 2003

Denver; January 20, 2003; Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA) announced that Bruce Lightenburger, CHA general manager of Holiday Inn Express Cortez will serve as past chairman, Navin Dimond, CHA president of Stonebridge Companies will serve as chairman, Becky Dombrowski, general manager of the Snowmass Club will serve as chairman-elect, John Evans, CHA, COO of East West Resorts will serve as treasurer, and Richard Maxfield, general manager of Omni Interlocken Hotel will serve as secretary. 

Rounding out the executive committee are AH&LA director Bob McCleary, CHA general manager of the Manor Vail Resort, and AH&LA alternate director Robert Foster, CHA owner of Lost Valley Ranch in Sedalia. 

Newly elected directors of the board include Coni Thornburg, general manager of Hotel Teatro in Denver, Gary Rodgers, director of lodging and hospitality services at Copper Mountain Resort and Pennie Landon, regional marketing director for USA Today, Serving as the new exchange director from the Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers of Colorado is Trip Butler, owner of Hunt Placer Inn in Breckenridge. 

Steve Hilliard, CHA general manager of ResortQuest Telluride, Kjell Mitchell, general manager of the Hot Springs Lodge & Pool in Glenwood Springs, Bob Weisenbach, owner of the Briar Rose Bed & Breakfast in Boulder and Lance Burwell, director of lodging at Silvertree Hotel in Snowmass have all been re-elected to serve another three year term expiring December 31, 2005.

Other directors of the current board include Connie Dorsey, general manager of the Vail Village Inn, Gary Fries, managing director of operations at the Inverness Hotel & Golf Club in Englewood, Larry MacDonald, general manager of the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, Robert Trotter, CHA general manager of the Hotel Monaco Denver, Scott Anderson, president of High Country Hospitality in Telluride, Bob Barto, CHA assistant general manager at Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge, Rex Chambers, CHA, CHSE, general manager at Valdoro Mountain Lodge in Breckenridge, Cindy Clark, director of human resources at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Lynn Mitchell, CHA regional general manager at the Far View Lodge as Mesa Verde, Greg Mount, vice president of operations southwest for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Patti O�Keefe, general manager of Marriott City Center in Denver, Tim Patterson, CHA, vice president, hospitality for Keystone Resort, Dan Pirrallo, general manager at Millennium Hotel Boulder, Chuck Porter, CHA general manager for Sheraton Steamboat Resort and Amy Melick, CHA, business development for Melick Associates.

The Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association (CH&LA) is a non-profit trade association representing more than 550 lodging properties in Colorado.  Formed in 1938, CH&LA has provided a forum for Colorado hoteliers to discuss issues of mutual concern for more than 60 years.  CH&LA is affiliated with the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA).
