nearly $7-million for enhancements at Harrison Conference Center at Glen
Cove, a 200-room landmark Georgian estate located on the north shore of
Long Island. The award-winning conference center, which debuted its
Manor Patio and Lawn Garden this past spring, is in the midst of a three-year
capital improvement project. The final stage of renovations to guestrooms
and function space began this month and is scheduled for completion by
early 2004.
The Crystal, Sun and Beach Dining Rooms, and Garden and Terrace Ballrooms will receive a facelift as well. New windows, lighting, carpets, wall coverings and window dressings will be give the facilities a fresh look while keeping with the Georgian style. Meeting rooms and public areas were upgraded last year. Located on 55 landscaped acres, near New York�s John F.
