Harrison Conference Center at Glen Cove Launches
Final Phase of $6.9-Million Renovation Program

GLEN COVE, NY � February 21, 2003 � ARAMARK Harrison Lodging is investing nearly $7-million for enhancements at Harrison Conference Center at Glen Cove, a 200-room landmark Georgian estate located on the north shore of Long Island.  The award-winning conference center, which debuted its Manor Patio and Lawn Garden this past spring, is in the midst of a three-year capital improvement project.  The final stage of renovations to guestrooms and function space began this month and is scheduled for completion by early 2004.

guestrooms with new furniture, carpets, drapes, bedding and other soft goods and enhancing bathrooms.  Granite vanities will be added to the bathrooms, as will sconce lighting and marble bathtubs.  All guestrooms will also be outfitted with high-speed internet access. 

The Crystal, Sun and Beach Dining Rooms, and Garden and Terrace Ballrooms will receive a facelift as well.  New windows, lighting, carpets, wall coverings and window dressings will be give the facilities a fresh look while keeping with the Georgian style.  Meeting rooms and public areas were upgraded last year.
