Gears Up for Explosive Growth McLean, Va. (March 5, 2002) �SynXis Corporation, a provider of reservation management and distribution systems for the hospitality industry, headquartered in McLean, Va., today announced the promotion of three company officers in preparation for further international and domestic growth. �In the past two months, SynXis has added more than 600 hotels to its
reservation management ASP solution,� said James Kelly, chairman, president
and CEO of SynXis. �These promotions position the company to handle its
current explosive growth in the U.S. and in Europe and to prepare for even
greater international growth next year.�
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Kevin Cheetham takes on the additional responsibilities of chief administrative officer, . In this role, he will continue to foster the growth of the company�s infrastructure while assuming oversight of the legal and human resources functions. Prior to joining SynXis three years ago, Cheetham was vice president and controller of Treev Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed document imaging software company in Northern Virginia. Cheetham also held positions with Mobil Oil and a Big Five accounting firm auditing a variety of major U.S. corporations. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). Bernard Ellis adds the responsibilities for global sales to his current duties as vice president for product strategy. �Bernard�s expertise in product strategy is a great fit with the role
