ENGLEWOOD, Colo. � April 30, 2001 � Navin Dimond, co-founder and president of Englewood-based Stonebridge Companies, recently received the 2000 Award for Excellence from the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA).

The most prestigious of the organization�s awards, the Award for Excellence recognizes a single individual for his strong leadership, high standards of excellence and valuable contributions to the lodging industry.

�While the award is presented to an individual, Stonebridge Companies and the people who make up this organization are the ones who earned it,� said Dimond. �I�m just the guy who was fortunate enough to accept it.�

Navin is a co-founder and a principal of Stonebridge Companies, which owns and operates more than 40 properties in the western United States. Navin is also a board member and co-founder of iSherpa Capital, a wireless incubator/venture capital fund. He also has extensive experience making investments in and advising Internet technology companies. Navin received his BS in construction management and his BA in business administration from Washington State University and his MBA from University of Denver. Navin is a member of the Foundation Board of Metropolitan State College of Denver and a member of the Board of Directors of pricehawk.com.
