Visual One's premium version of Internet Connection software offers a full interface between the hotel's web page and the Visual One Hotel System with little or no client intervention. Once a potential guest clicks the link on the hotel's web site, Visual One's IC software will appear and guide the guest through the reservation process, verifying room availability and rates through a connection to the Visual One Hotel System. Upon capture of the appropriate guest information, including an e-mail address, the system creates the reservation and sends a confirmation message, via e-mail, back to the guest.

The hotel's management staff can define, on a day-by-day basis, the quantity of rooms that are available to be sold through the hotel's web page. In addition, the room rates that are available through IC can be subject to V1's built-in rate inventory and yield management system.

The IC software will be introduced at the Visual One user's conference on April 3, 2000. An interface to WorldRes will also be introduced. WorlRes is an Internet-based reservation service used by many portals including AOL, Lycos, Yahoo, Travelocity, and more.
