   InterContinental Software Solutions, Inc. (ICSS® ) Installng Communications System in all Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn Throughout the U.S
Columbus, Ohio �March 10, 2000 -  InterContinental Software Solutions, Inc. (ICSS® ) has entered into  agreements with Bass Hotels & Resorts, the world�s most global hotel company, to provide and install a revolutionary communications system for all of the company�s Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn properties throughout the U.S.

�We are very excited to provide Bass Hotels & Resorts� Staybridge Suites properties with our state of the art communications package,� Hari Kesavan, president and chief technical officer at ICSS, said. �This package allows the extended-stay business traveler to utilize his or her room as an �office away from the office�.�

The communications system will include:

  • ICSS Guest Services Suite�  (G.S.S.) software package, complete with the following features: ICSS Direct Dial: provides all rooms with a direct-dial number, thus allowing guests� callers to bypass the hotel�s operator. This software also creates temporary business cards with a guest�s name and direct room line, which guests can provide to business associates for use while they are staying at the property
  • ICSS Welcome Message/Comfort Message: allows hotel managers to personally record welcome messages that each guest will hear upon checking into his room; a second personal message is left in the guest�s mailbox later during his/her stay, assuring that the hotel will do everything possible to make the guest�s stay enjoyable.
  • ICSS E911 Pager: notifies hotel staff with vital guest information, including the room number, when a guest places an emergency call from his/her room; the staff can better direct and dispatch emergency personnel or offer other assistance to guests in need.
  • Lucent Intuity� voice mail system, equipping all guest rooms with voice mail
  • Xiox� call accounting system
  • Lucent Guest Works� telephone system
  • TeleMatrix guest room phones
ICSS provides a well-trained staff to install the communications system and to ensure that each of its customers� systems is running at an optimal performance level.

The ICSS system is already installed in 12 Staybridge Suites properties, and will be in 20-30 additional locations by the end of this year. Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn offers extended-stay travelerscomfort and convenience with studios and one- and two-bedroom floor plans ideally designed for stays of five nights or longer.

Established in 1992, Columbus, Ohio-based ICSS specializes in telecommunications technology solutions for the hospitality industry. ICSS currently has 70 employees, and also has field sales representatives working from virtual offices in Denver, Seattle and Boston.
