Rockville, MD�February 24, 2000 � CynterShow
today announced that the three-day educational conference that it produced
for the fifth annual EURHOTEC tradeshow, the European Hospitality Show
and Conference, Lausanne, Switzerland from February 16-18, 2000 at the
Beaulieu Congress and Exhibition Centre was a resounding success.
Early show evaluations show that more than 85 percent of attendees gave
the sessions they attended positive remarks.
The EURHOTEC educational conference featured major keynote speakers including Jim Sappington, Assistant Vice President, Global IT Services for McDonald�s Corporation; Scott Heintzeman, VP of Knowledge Technologies, Carlson Hospitality Worldwide; and Arthur Esch, well known technology expert. In partnering with IH&RA to manage the educational program, CynterShow leveraged its experience managing the educational conference of FS/TEC, the U.S.-based tradeshow and conference. CynterShow UK also recently launched another tradeshow and exhibition--HOSTEC 2000-- to serve the technology sector in the hospitality, foodservice and catering industries in the UK. It will take place in London April 11-13, 2000 and includes both an educational conference program and exhibition. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management. More than 60 technology experts headed the three-day conference program, with 75 exhibitors showcasing their hi-tech products and services. That�s a very high concentration of knowledge and experience which translates into great educational value and profit potential for all attendees. �Our goal was to create more value for show attendees by devoting more resources to the show�s educational sessions and presenters,� said Rob Grimes, CEO & Chairman of CynterCorp. 2000 at the Beaulieu Congress and Exhibition Centre. More than 1,000 people
attended the show, from over 50 countries, including more than 75
major technology-based suppliers to the hospitality industry.
