MINNEAPOLIS - April 20, 1999--Elephant Castle Group Inc. (NASDAQ:PUBSF, PACIFIC:PUB) today announced the signing of an exclusive development agreement with Bass Hotels and Resorts. The agreement between Elephant Castle International and Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts, a division of Bass Hotels and Resorts, calls for the expansion of the Alamo Grill(tm) brand to the franchisees of Holiday Inn.
