MICHIGAN CITY, Ind - Dec. 10, 1998--According to Blue Chip
Casino officials, construction has begun on the Blue Chip Hotel, which
will be located adjacent to the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City.

a 200-room, eight story, structure atop two levels of underground parking.

In addition, Blue Chip announced the appointment of Jeffrey Doyle, as Manager of Hotel Operations. Prior to joining the Blue Chip team, Doyle was General Manager for the Holiday Inn Suites in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Doyle will be responsible for all facets of hotel operations and report to Blue Chip President Kevin Larson. The Blue Chip Hotel is scheduled to open in late 1999. Aria Architects designed the new hotel, and Walsh Construction of LaPorte, Indiana has been appointed project contractor. Both companies were involved in the construction of the Blue Chip Pavilion. |
