Were pleased to announce that Villager has ten additional new construction agreements in the pipeline.
Villager has grown from a 21-property chain in November 1994 when Cendant Corporations predecessor acquired the brand, to its milestone 100th opening announcement. The chain is currently the second largest extended stay brand in the lodging industry.
We congratulate Ken and the entire Villager team on this 100th opening, said John Russell, Chairman of Cendant Hotel Division. Villager has raced to the forefront of economy extended stay lodging and is expanding to include an even wider distribution throughout North America. With Cendant's brand management and demonstrated system growth experience, Villager has the support that is helping it become the leader in economy extended stay.
The site developers for the property were Boulder Palm, LLC and First American Equities, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The principal contact for First American Equities and Boulder Palm, LLC, Bill Davis, spearheaded the project and credits the high standards of the contractor and Villager Franchise Systems, Inc. for making the construction project such a success.
The future of extended stay is bright, said Davis. As demand in this segment continues to outpace supply, we are enthusiastic about exploring opportunities to develop additional Villager properties.
The property is located at 4350 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, Nevada. All rooms include coffeemakers, microwave ovens, full kitchens, voice mail and a host of other amenities. The Las Vegas Villager also offers a swimming pool and whirlpool spa, outdoor grills in courtyard setting, guest laundry, exercise facility and meeting rooms.
We are happy to join an established company that promotes quality and is a leader in extended stay, said General Manager Susan Black. And with Villager, we will benefit from all of the corporate support and marketing programs offered to all Villager properties.
