SIOUX FALLS SD, June 21, 2005 As LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: LNET) showcases the latest enhancements to its SIGNETURE HDTV SM platform at the HITEC trade show, hoteliers and their guests are already enjoying SIGNETURE HDTV at high profile properties in Chicago and Los Angeles.

SIGNETURE HDTV is thrilling guests at The Hard Rock Chicago, where select suites feature 42-inch plasma screens displaying high-definition broadcast programming as well as high-definition premium satellite entertainment enabled by the industry standard, Pro:IdiomTM copy protection technology. We host a lot of affluent, technically savvy guests, more and more of whom have HDTV systems at home, said Robert Todak, General Manager for the Hard Rock Chicago. They are impressed when they first see a plasma screen in their room, and even more delighted when they turn it on and realize how easy it is to enjoy HDTV programming.

Meanwhile, guests of The Beverly Hilton are turning on 42-inch plasma displays to enjoy the crystal clear sights and sounds of high-definition broadcast and premium satellite programming over that propertys SIGNETURE HDTV system. Technology is a big part of our $60 million renovation, and the timing was perfect for us to upgrade to a state-of-the art HDTV solution, said Denny Fitzpatrick, General Manager.

The Hard Rock Chicago and The Beverly Hilton installations showcase our ability to deploy a standards-based HDTV solution through which hotels can WOW their most demanding guests with a rapidly growing variety of high-definition content, plus the interactive TV services they have come to expect all through a system that uses a single remote control, said Scott C. Petersen, President & CEO of LodgeNet, noting that LodgeNet has distributed HDTV broadcast programming to guest rooms since late 2003.

LodgeNet is demonstrating SIGNETURE HDTV as part of its
integrated SIGNETURE SM Solutions at HITEC booth #711 in the
Los Angeles Convention Center, today through June 23.
