Leading Meeting Planners Instrumental in Hiltons
Adoption of Passkeys Technology
(Las Vegas, NV / Quincy, MA) June 21, 2005 Passkey International, Inc. today announced it has entered an agreement with The Las Vegas Hilton to adopt the hotel industrys leading online group housing management solution, Passkey.  The Las Vegas Hilton will use Passkey to manage its online housing for all types of events and meetings, expanding Hiltons ability to attract and uniquely service its meeting planner clients.

As a major international meeting location, the Las Vegas Hilton is continually seeking to maximize the revenue and improve the efficiencies associated with the vast amount of group business it manages on an annual basis.  Already successful with our group and meeting management, we realized there were areas, that if improved, would produce additional benefits and more satisfied customers. stated Tom Page, Senior Vice President of Sales Las Vegas Hilton.  Once we learned more about Passkey, we knew we had found our answer.

The Las Vegas Hiltons implementation of Passkey is designed to:

  • Drive more group bookings online, while accelerating the booking pace,
  • Provide meeting planners a real-time single event data source for room list and group reservations management capabilities,
  • Up-sell rooms and hotel amenities by effectively marketing to group attendees prior to the event,
  • Reduce operational costs and time associated with manual labor-intensive processes.
Passkeys key benefit is serving meeting planner business, helping them improve their group management processes.  Hotels that offer Passkey have a definite advantage in the meeting planner decision process, stated Kevin Johnston, CMP, Director of Global Events, CoreNet Global.  The shared access to Passkey is invaluable, enhancing communications between the meeting planner and hotel, and allowing both parties to see the same event information.

The Las Vegas Hilton will implement the Passkey Enterprise Solution, which includes several enhancing applications:

  • Passkey  the hotel group reservations management application;
  • ReglinkSM  an API interface that seamlessly integrates the meeting planners preferred registration or attendee management system with Passkey;
  • GroupLinkSM  an API interface that electronically transfers reservations entered in Passkey into the property management system;
  • Room List ManagerSM  an application that imports room lists, automatically creates reservations, and instantly sends out hotel confirmations;
  • GroupmasterLinkSM an API interface that automatically transfers events and room blocks from hotel sales and catering systems (in this case Delphi) into Passkey.
With over 4,500 Passkey-enabled hotels and 2,500 meeting planners booking more online group business through their applications, Passkey is well positioned to continue to deliver innovative technology solutions to the hospitality marketplace.  Were thrilled to be working with the Las Vegas Hilton, stated Greg Pesik, President & CEO of Passkey International Inc.  More leading properties like the Las Vegas Hilton, for whom groups and meetings are critical to achieving business objectives, are relying on our proven solutions.
