TAMPA, FL/March 7, 2005 - Robert C. O'Leary has been named vice president
of the southeastern territory for The Plasencia Group's new Sun Hospitality
Division, where he will focus on investment advisory and disposition services
for mid-market properties (under $12 million).
The Plasencia Group is the nation's leading hospitality transaction and consulting services firm. O'Leary, who joined the Plasencia Group from Choice Hotels International, had been director of franchise development in the southeastern United States and was a five-time member of Choice' Presidents Club. During his tenure, he generated nearly 100 new franchise agreements for Choice. "Robert's extensive background positions him perfectly for the growing volume of work our new Sun Hospitality Division expects to be doing with mid-range properties," said Dennis Reed, managing director of the Sun Hospitality Division and a vice president of The Plasencia Group. "While his initial concentration will be in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, I would fully expect that he will provide counsel and help for our other four geographic regions. "Robert's academic background from the University of Pennsylvania's
Wharton School of Business and Duke University School of Law will also
be a major strength in our investment and negotiating efforts."
