taking over the management of its three destination resorts, Tiburon Hospitality
Management has garnered more than $26 million dollars in estimated publicity
value for its properties.
�One of our key strategies for THM in repositioning the properties was to aggressively pursue the print and broadcast media contacts who we knew would be able to provide maximum exposure to the travel and leisure markets while still maintaining a strong presence in the hotel and meeting trades. They work closely in determining each resort�s annual media plans and strategies and combining those efforts with additional editorial opportunities. Editorial placements have included Conde Nast Traveler, Travel & Leisure, Travel & Leisure Golf, US Weekly, New York Daily News, New York Times, Sunset Magazine, Successful Meetings, The Record, New York Post, Spa Magazine, Golfweek and Corporate & Incentive Travel to name a few. Tiburon�s PR effort also focused on cultivating and developing relationships with the local chambers of commerce and convention and visitors bureaus in each of its resorts respective cities to ensure participation with incoming media fams and events, as well as hosting individual writers visiting those destinations. �Developing solid relationships with the local CVBs and chambers is a key element in securing media exposure not only for the host city but for the resorts as well.
