Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers Appoints Elaine Wong
as Director of Six Sigma, Black Belt

Hong Kong, 23 September 2004 -- Ms. Elaine Wong has been appointed Director of Six Sigma, Black Belt at the Sheraton Hong Kong effective 6 September 2004, overseeing all the Six Sigma initiatives at this property.

Elaine has over 16 years of experience working as quality drivers in the engineering and industrial sector responsible for ensuring quality standards of different kind of technologies in several global market leading companies. Prior to joining us, Elaine worked for Motorola, which is the birthplace of Six Sigma in 1986.  She was named as the production quality manager when joined Motorola Semiconductor Sector and then turned to focus on organizational re-engineering and business process improvement. When Motorola renewed their corporate Six Sigma program, Elaine expanded her role as the regional Six Sigma champion responsible for facilitating Six Sigma initiatives for the company. In addition, she was also a Motorola University certified instructor for the Six Sigma Green Belt and Champion training programs.
