StayOnline Announces New QuickResponseCoveragePlusSM
Wireless HSIA Leader Sets Itself Apart with
Innovative Repair Program
Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA, June 21, 2004 StayOnlines sales force arrives at the annual HITEC show with a new weapon in its arsenal the first nationwide four-hour response program for break/fix repair in the HSIA access industry.  Called QuickResponseCoveragePlusSM , the innovative program enables StayOnlines technicians to retrieve any needed replacement parts from 60 locations nationwide and be onsite to a hotel, resort or conference center within four hours of being called for a repair.

High-speed Internet access is no longer a luxury at a hotel or meeting facility it is a necessity, said Ron Peterson, Executive Vice President of Sales for StayOnline. Just as guests expect that you will immediately fix their TV or their phone, their heat or their air conditioning, they expect to have HSIA that is always available.  We are initiating QuickResponseCoveragePlusSM so that guests at our customer hotels can count on that.

Typical manufacturers warranties on the equipment used for hotspots require shipping broken or damaged equipment back to the manufacturer.  Often, it takes weeks to get repaired or replacement equipment returned. StayOnlines new program completely eliminates this step for the end user by repairing it or replacing it on site.

Our customers will tell you that service is what sets us apart from the competition; QuickResponseCoveragePlus (QRC+) adds another level of service to our contracts, he added. This is a way to continue to raise the bar and give the hotels piece of mind when it comes to rapid service for any issues that may arise.

In addition to honoring all manufacturer warranties on all equipment installed by StayOnline, QRC+ enhances and extends this coverage to include software/firmware updates, patches and bug-fixes, as well as onsite service for the life of the companys agreement with its customers (typically three years).

Frankly, most of our hotel customers do not have the time or resources on site to troubleshoot common issues that may occur.  QRC+ takes the hassle out of tracking down the solution in-house, said Peterson.

According to Dave Spangrud, Regional Director of Operations Systems for Highpointe Hotels, a StayOnline client, the after-installation service is as important, if not more so, than the installation itself.  StayOnline is the only solution we looked at that has such a robust service program.  StayOnline recently completed installations at 11 mid-sized properties managed by Highpointe.

Were like the software updates on your computer as we upgrade, we pass the improvements on to our customers, who in turn improve their service level, efficiency and security, said Antonio DiMilia, President and CEO of StayOnline.  We dont simply install our HSIA solution in a hotel and forget about them; we work hard to continually stay ahead of the curve to improve our product and service offerings.
