Laura Bishop Appointed General Manager and Kelie Smit
as Director of Sales and Marketing of the
Red Horse Inn, Orlando 

 
Orlando, FL- (February 4, 2004) � The Western, Hip Red Horse Inn, a Kessler Collection Property, is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura Bishop as general manager and Kelie Smit as director of sales and marketing of the 159-room hotel located at the doorsteps of Universal Orlando on International Drive. 

Prior to joining the Red Horse Inn, Bishop was the assistant general manager and general manager of the Wellesley Inn & Suites in Orlando / Maitland.  She was also the front desk supervisor and the manager on duty at the Holiday Inn Sun Spree in Lake Buena Vista. 
 

Smit has been in the hospitality industry for the past 15 years.  She most recently served as the senior sales manager for Summer Bay Resort in Kissimmee and was the senior sales manager for Absolutely Florida Accommodations and Dimension Development in Orlando.  In addition, Smit was the sales and marketing representative for Hilton North in Redington Beach, FL, director of tour and travel for Cape Canaveral Cruise Line, Inc., director of international sales for Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction and the regional director of sales for DIMA Resorts/Avista Properties.
