center. It fills an important niche in our portfolio for a property in the D. C. area. The Postal Service is very proud of this facility and wanted an operator to identify with its quality goals for its own training needs while opening the doors to our broader customer base. We think it is a good partnership.

DeWitt O. Harris, Vice President, Employee Resource Management for the U. S. Postal Service and a long-term Postal Service employee, says, We selected Dolce International to manage the Bolger Center because we believe they will continue the fine tradition our staff has established of great, friendly service for our postal employees and external customers. Dolces experience in managing conference centers with this combination of internal and external meetings will take us to our goal of a self-sustaining facility.

The 83-acre, meticulously landscaped campus includes three buildings housing the guest rooms and meeting areas. Amenities include a complete fitness center, indoor lap pool, jogging trail, tennis, and game room.

Paul Dolce has assumed the General Managers position, and comments, The Bolger Center has a great team already in place, and I am impressed by the strong sense of pride that Postal Service employees feel for their organization. That matches well with our culture, and we see great opportunities for the property.

Some changes to take place immediately include maximizing the facility seven days a week to accommodate weekend meetings. Improvements are also planned in the food and beverage program while putting in place Dolce standards of service throughout.

Dolce International operates twenty-six properties in the United States, Canada and Europe.
