Meyer Jabara Hotels Promotes 3 General Managers; 
Reflects "Cluster" Management Strategy

 
DANBURY, Conn., Sept. 22, 2003 - Meyer Jabara Hotels has promoted  Rick Sacco, Scott Craver and Dan Dolan, giving each of them additional responsibilities at several of the company's owned and managed properties.
    
Rick Sacco, general manager of the Holiday Inn Select, Clinton, NJ, has been promoted and assigned the additional responsibility as general manager of the 130-room Hampton Inn also in Clinton, a property where he has been serving as the Meyer Jabara Hotel Coach for two years.  Sacco will retain his general manager responsibilities for the 142-room Holiday Inn Select, a position he has held for ten years. The two-year-old Hampton Inn has a lobby atrium with breakfast area accented by a hometown friendly atmosphere.  The Holiday Inn Select is an upgraded business hotel that is also well suited as a destination property with wide appeal to leisure clientele.  The hotel features meetings space and a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 400.  Other attractions include The Bistro Cafi and Jitterbuggs night club.  Previous to joining Meyer Jabara, Sacco held the positions with Holiday Inns in Boston and Prime Motor Hotels in Fairfield, NJ.   Sacco holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
    
Scott Craver has assumed day to day management for both the 175-room Holiday Inn Conference Center and the 147-room Four Points Sheraton Hotel and Suites both located in Lehigh Valley, N.J.  The Holiday Inn features 14,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a concierge level, America Restaurant and the Budweiser Tap Room.  The Four Points features Teddy's Market Street Cafe and Teddy's Night Club in addition to a large indoor lap pool and a fitness center.  Craver has been with MJH since 1995, has served as general manager of other company owned and managed hotels.  Prior to joining Meyer Jabara, he held management positions with Horizon Hotels, a management company, the landmark 1300-room Milford Plaza in New York and Sheraton Corp.  Craver graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Hotel Administration and has the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation from the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
    
Dan Dolan has been named the general manager of the 148-room Ramada Inn in Windsor Locks, CT.  The full service hotel featuring Pier 75 seafood restaurant and Fan Club sports bar is located near the newly remodeled Bradley International Airport.  Prior to his promotion, Dolan served most recently as general manager at the MJH managed Clinton, N.J. Hampton Inn, and will continue as interim hotel coach for that property now under Sacco's leadership.  Prior to that, he held general manager positions at the Hampton Inn in Meriden, CT, Comfort Inn, Danvers, MA, and Holiday Inn Express in Southington, CT.   Dolan graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Hotel Restaurant and Travel Administration.

Meyer Jabara Hotels is based in Danbury, Conn. and has a portfolio of 27 hotels in 14 states licensed under Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn brands.
