Hospitality Management Corp. Managed Radisson Hotel Tulsa Airport Receiving Extensive Architectural Upgrades

Tulsa, OK. July 17, 2003. More than a year of extensive architectural upgrades to the Radisson Hotel Tulsa Airport is nearing completion. Exterior improvements include a sleek new roofline and porte cachiere. According to general manager Kevin Roberts the hotels upgrade campaign, called Facing the Future with a Brand New Look, encompasses a series of changes geared to enhance the propertys visual appeal as well as expand the level of state of the art amenities available at the 172- room full service hotel located at Tulsa International Airport.

"At a time when travel and revenues are down, our company is forging ahead and spending money to meet and exceed the expectations of our guests, said Roberts. The improvements, combined with our renowned service and unbeatable airport location, will enable us to continue to expand our growing base of business, social, meeting and leisure travelers, he said.

Recently added guest conveniences include the installation of a flight schedule monitor in the main lobby, which enables hotel guests as well as flight crews to verify on time take offs and avert airline delays before leaving the comfort of their hotel for the less than five-minute trip to their boarding gate. A newly added crew lounge is designed to provide extra comfort to the flight crews who enjoy the hotels close proximity to their work.

To meet the needs of the hotels many business travelers, all guestrooms have now been outfitted with two telephone lines, including dataports, to provide simultaneous Internet access and voice communication. Guestrooms have also received new gooseneck showerheads and drapery sheers.

Improvements also extend into public spaces. New carpets, bar stools and menus have been installed in Bentleys Sports Bar & Grill. The food and beverage outlet has also extended its Happy Hour, which features hors doeuvres and drink specials, from 4 7 PM Monday through Friday. The hotel boardroom has also received new drapes.

According to Roberts, more upgrades will follow quickly. Plans call for new carpet to be installed throughout the hotel lobby, Plums restaurant, all guestroom corridors, meeting room corridors and the boardroom. A unique upcoming feature will be women travelers guestrooms. These rooms will be specifically designed to provide more aesthetic appeal as well as comfort and security for female guests traveling alone.

Additional plans call for the addition of voice mail and 25 color TVs in all guestrooms. The corridor of the hotels conference center, which houses the propertys 7,200 square feet of meeting and banquet space, will also receive new furnishings.

The Radisson is operated by Dallas-based Hospitality Management Corporation. HMC currently manages 15 hotels under a variety of flags, including Radisson, Hilton, Doubletree, Holiday Inn and Wingate, in primary and secondary markets across the country.
