CHIP Hospitality to Rebrand the Hôtel Radisson Québec
to Delta Québec
TORONTO, ON, April 16, 2003 -- Delta Hotels announced today that the Hôtel Radisson Québec, located in Quebec City, will be re-branded the Delta Québec,
effective July 1, 2003. 
 
In 2002, more than $5.2 million was invested by CHIP Hospitality to enhance guest rooms and meeting and convention space at this full-service hotel. 

�There is tremendous synergy with the Delta brand in the province of Quebec, and Delta Québec will be an important addition to our city-centre portfolio in the province,� said John Pye, President, Delta Hotels. �We are pleased that CHIP Hospitality has chosen Delta Hotels to help it establish an even stronger position for this well-known property.�

�The change-over to Delta will bring added growth opportunities to the hotel and to CHIP properties throughout Quebec,� said CHIP Hospitality President Minaz Abji. �It is a strategic fit for our company in this key market and provides us with expanded regional and national marketing opportunities.�

The Delta Québec is the third Delta franchised property managed by CHIP Hospitality. The other two properties are Delta Montréal and Delta Edmonton South
Hotel and Conference Centre.

The Delta Québec becomes the fifth Delta property in the province. The others are Delta Centre-Ville (Montreal), Delta Montréal, Delta Sherbrooke Hotel and Conference Centre and Delta Trois Rivières Hotel and Conference Centre.

Located steps away from Old Quebec, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site in the heart of North America�s only walled city, the Delta Québec is linked directly to both the Quebec Convention Centre and the boutiques of Place Québec.

The Delta Québec has 377 rooms, including a split-level Presidential Suite with sweeping views of the provincial Parliament buildings, 14 meeting rooms, totalling 12,048 square feet and accommodating from 10 to 600 delegates, and a health club with massage rooms, whirlpool and saunas, and also offers valet and concierge services.
