Average daily rate (ADR) during the quarter was $55.19, a 0.4 percent increase, compared to $54.95 in the fourth quarter of 2001. Revenue per available room (RevPAR) was $38.03, a decrease of 2.1 percent from $38.84 in the fourth quarter of 2001.

Revenue from the Company's owned and leased hotels for the three-month period ended December 31, 2002 was $28.8 million, compared to $29 million for the same period in 2001. Total hotel operating revenue (including hotel operations, franchise and management fee income, and loss from joint ventures) for the three-month period ended December 31, 2002 was $24.8 million, compared to $29.2 million for the same period in 2001.
