 Hilton International Secures 10 Year Extension for
Hilton Beijing Management Contract
April 22, 2003 - Hilton International is pleased to announce that it has secured an extension of the Hilton Beijing's management contract for a further 10-year period.
 
Located in the business and diplomatic district with easy access to the Beijing International Airport, the 364 guest room hotel has established itself as one of the capital's most successful five-star properties since opening in January 1994. 

The existing contract was due for renewal between Hilton International (HI) and Oriental Arts Building Company Limited (OAB), which is a sino-foreign joint venture of China Travel Service (Holdings) Corporation

of China and Chinese Estates Holdings Limited of Hong Kong, in the end of the year. However, both parties are eager to move forward ahead of the forthcoming hotel renovation, planned to begin later this year, encompassing guestrooms, restaurants, banquet facilities and public areas.
