Internet Hotel Booking Engine Giant Launches
Americas Push; FastBooking Opens USA
Office for Sales and Support
January 22, 2003 - FastBooking announced today the opening of its USA Sales and Service Center based in New York to sell and support hotels on its popular booking engine software. Over 1500 hotels worldwide now utilize the web based application which facilitates booking in a choice of 20 languages.

FastBooking is a booking tool that sits on the hotels web site. It is completely managed on-line by the hotel permitting instant updates to inventory and client rates. Further the system is totally transparent from the user as no branded trademarks are used on any page.

Not all booking engines are created equally. The hotel benefits from the tools it needs to manage the Internet better which ultimately provides more reservations. FastBooking can manages complex quotations by room, stay, or by person; can handle unlimited rate offerings and individually provide inventory for each, and can manage the e-marketing tools, such as email and internet source capture,  that hotels need today. Private rates such as tour operators, local and global corporate clients, secretary clubs, preferred travel agents club, promotions with restricted viewership, and groups either booked direct or via meeting planners are all managed via access keys given to the client. Their private rates and contract conditions are pre-populated on the single page booking screen further facilitating error free bookings. Rates, policies, inclusions, and sale terms can all also be individually defined.

Public rates such as rack, promotions, packages, long term stay, and last minute rates permit the hotel to manage its own internet strategy without the total reliance on third party discounters. Its yield management features let the hotel maximize revenue while at the same time permits efficient management of its package and promotion programs. FastBookings e-consulting services assist the hotel in developing an effective internet strategy. Search engine results can provide direct links to hotel promotional offers booking page. When specific offer is not available, the best available rate is then offered as a default reducing the efforts of the user to requalify dates and information again.

The hotel industry is in the midst of some challenging times and the search is on for an expanded reach of clients that will book with the hotel directly. FastBooking not only accomplishes this but also reduces expenses in the reservations department says Ed Brill FastBooking-USAs executive. One third of the world speaks English. Opening the web offerings to others that would prefer to book rooms in their own language as well as the ability to manage internet offerings better will surely generate new sales.

Hotel groups, management companies, corporate clients or any organizations with a dedicated hotel program can also benefit from the feature that groups the hotels together. Availability of rates, packages and promotions can be cloned and availability denials will automatically be referred to another hotel in the group.

In recent news, FastBooking announced a partnership with Go-Voyages, one of Frances largest tour operators. FastBooking will be the hotel booking engine for the Go-Voyages hotel program. FastBooking has a similar partnership with Accenture-France.
