Paul Pastoor to Head Prestige Resorts Management
and Consulting

September 17, 2002 - Paul Pastoor has been tapped to head a new division of Prestige Resorts and Destinations, Ltd., called Prestige Resorts Management and Consulting.
 
The new division was created to increase management contract acquisitions including those by third parties as well as hospitality strategic consulting.  Pastoor will play a major role in developing new properties especially in the Caribbean including the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. He is responsible for the operations of Samana Bay Village Resort in the Dominican Republic, which is managed by Prestige Resorts.
 
"Given his more than 30 years of hotel and resort experience especially in the luxury classification, Paul has the qualities to make this new division a success," said Prestige Resort's President and Chief Executive Officer Blair McKeever. "During his tenure at our Discover Resorts International division as vice president of operations, Paul has proven his ability to obtain third party management clients, a skill needed in his new Prestige responsibilities."
 
A native of the Netherlands, Pastoor joined Discover Resorts International in 2000 after working as vice president of operations at John Gardiner's Resorts in Paradise Valley, Ariz., Sedona, Ariz. and Rancho Valencia, Calif. As vice president of operations, Pastoor was responsible for overseeing the operations of the vacation rental, resort and property management handled by Discover Resorts International.
