Dolce Appoints Several to Key Corporate Positions
MONTVALE, NJ (13 September 2002) -- In response to its aggressive global strategy for growth and expansion, Andy Dolce, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dolce International has announced additions and changes in several key positions throughout the Company. 

Andy MacLellan, Chief Operating Officer and President, European Operations

Andy MacLellan will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer and will now oversee development and operations activities in Europe. Operating out of the Company�s Paris Office, MacLellan will oversee European operations for the Company�s existing five European properties as well as providing strategic direction for Dolce�s growth throughout Europe. Currently, Dolce International has projects in Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany and the UK. 

MacLellan has been with Dolce International since 1998 with an extensive background in operations with Westin Hotels and Bass Hotels & Resorts. MacLellan will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the properties acquired or developed through the capital investment made by a partnership with Soros Real Estate Investors C.V. to expand Dolce�s portfolio in Europe. 

Steve Giblin, President of the Americas

Steve Giblin joins the Montvale, New Jersey headquarters team as President of the Americas. He joins Dolce International after a successful five-year role as President and CEO of Newmarket International, the developers of the hospitality industry�s first Windows-based sales automation system. Giblin has also served in leadership roles with Marriott, Red Lion Hotels and Inns and Senior Vice President of North American Operations for Omni Hotels where he grew operating profits dramatically as Senior Vice President and Director of Operations. Giblin became President and CEO of Newmarket in 1996. Under his leadership, the company doubled in size, tripled annual revenues, and opened offices on three continents.

In his new capacity as President of the Americas, Giblin will oversee operations of all Dolce International properties in the United States and Canada as well as the expansion of new properties including additions soon in the western and southwestern US. Said Giblin, �Dolce has outperformed its competitors in the conference and group markets throughout the United States and Europe in a very
difficult market. We will continue to build the brand with this significant competitive edge. Our ability to grow revenues and profits in 2002 has led to significant growth opportunities. The management team at Dolce has tremendous talent to execute this strategy"

Mark DePiero, Senior Vice President, Operations

Mark DePiero, who has overseen European Operations since 1999, has returned to the United States to oversee all Dolce-owned and partnered properties in the US. Mark has been with Dolce International since 1985 in a variety of roles including, opening General Manager of Dolce Frégate in Provence, France, General Manager of the Bank of Montreal Institute for Learning, General Manager at Dolce Tarrytown House, and Vice President Operations Eastern region. 

Robin Steiner, Corporate Director of Marketing, The Americas

Robin joins Dolce International with 19 years experience in the hospitality industry. She�s held various senior level management positions with Summit International Hotels, Grand Bay Hotels and Resorts, L�Ermitage Hotels, Renaissance Hotels, and most recently had her own marketing consulting company.  Steiner will provide marketing strategic direction to the Company�s portfolio of properties in North America as well as oversee the implementation and execution of marketing services for the group.

James M. Mahon, Corporate Director, Public Relations

A 20-year veteran of the conference center industry, James has been with Dolce International for seven years where he served as Director of Marketing Services. In his new role, Mahon will continue to maintain the strong relationships with industry trade publications throughout North America and to expand press relationships to the leisure, travel, sports, business and consumer press. James will ensure communication about the Company, its core business and the conference center concept is consistent through all global activities.
