Feliz Jarvis Named VP of Sales for La Quinta Corporation
July 16, 2002 - La Quinta® Corporation announces the addition of Feliz Jarvis to lead its national sales efforts as vice president of sales.

In her new position, Ms. Jarvis will be responsible for increasing system-wide revenues and managing three regional sales teams. Ms. Jarvis will report to Francis W. �Butch� Cash, president and CEO for La Quinta Corporation.

�Increased occupancy and RevPAR growth are essential to the continued profitability of La Quinta,� said Mr. Cash. �We believe Feliz has the proven ability to provide leadership, creativity and experience that will be key to meeting and exceeding our company�s financial goals.�

With more than 20 years of hospitality and real estate experience, Ms. Jarvis has served in a variety of hotel management capacities, including general manager and director of sales. As vice president of sales and marketing at Bristol Hotels & Resorts, Ms. Jarvis had overall responsibility for the sales and marketing activities of over 100 hotels in North America. Most recently, as senior vice president of office development at the Billingsley Company, she oversaw the leasing and marketing of the company�s substantial commercial real estate portfolio. A cum laude graduate of the University of Houston�s Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Ms.  Jarvis received the college�s Distinguished Alumni Award in 1999.
