August 27, 2002 - Marissa Hoppe has been
named director of sales and marketing for the Westminster Hotel, a new
upscale hotel and banquet center being developed in Livingston, New Jersey.
Once construction is completed in the fall, the hotel will feature 190
luxury guest rooms, 15,000 square feet of banquet and conference facilities,
and a 120-seat restaurant.
Prior to joining the Westminster Hotel, the Summit,
New Jersey resident served as sales manager/account executive at the Grand
Summit Hotel and as a senior sales manager at Hamptons International in
Hong Kong.
�As an integral member of the sales and marketing team, we welcome Marissa�s
hospitality expertise and look forward to her contributions toward establishing
the Westminster Hotel�s high standard for superior guest services and first-class

The hotel is being developed by a partnership that is spearheaded by Kushner
Companies, a leading private real estate organization based in Florham
Park, New Jersey. Purchased in the spring of 2002, the hotel is undergoing
a comprehensive $25 million gut rehabilitation and reconstruction of the
existing two- and three-story structure.

Hoppe earned a bachelor of science in commerce with a major in accounting
at Adamson University in Manila, Philippines; an associate degree in hotel
management at the Katherine Gibbs School in New York, New York; and certification
in Hospitality Sales and Marketing from the American Motel & Hotel
Association. In addition, she is multilingual and is fluent in Japanese
and Cantonese. |
