Hospitality Marketing Concepts Appoints Lucas Peng,
Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific
Poised for Asia Pacific Expansion

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA � August 7, 2002 - Lucas Peng, a well-known personality in the Asian hospitality and travel industry scene, has been appointed Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific, for Hospitality Marketing Concepts (HMC), the world�s leading provider of travel industry membership and database management programs. 

Peng will be stationed in Singapore and will lead the region�s existing dynamic and highly-skilled team of professionals to achieve new heights, with specific objectives to improve and expand HMC�s services and network in the Asia Pacific Region.  HMC already offers its proprietary CLUBHOTEL membership program through more than 700 hotels in over 75 countries around the world.

Most recently, Peng was Vice President, Hotel Services, for Utell Ltd,  Asia Pacific.  Peng�s tenure with Utell International spans 11 years, holding various senior management roles in Customer Support, Data Management, IT/Office Automation, Sales & Marketing, and Reservations Services.  Peng also had a hotel background, having worked at the Hyatt Regency and the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore.
