H. Scott Ackerman as Regional Vice President of Sales, AmeriSuites southern region. Ackerman will oversee sales for 20 AmeriSuites hotels in Florida, North Carolina and Louisiana. 

Ackerman joins AmeriSuites from Davidson Hotel Group in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was Regional Director of Sales. A 17-year veteran in the hospitality industry, Ackerman has also held sales and marketing positions throughout Florida for Hilton Hotels, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Carnival Hotel and Casino (formerly The Continental Companies). He also owned and managed Sarco Press, a publishing company that developed three lifestyle magazines.

Eric B. Swinger as Director of Sales for the AmeriSuites hotel in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Swinger will handle local sales, calling on corporate and leisure accounts in the Hendersonville market.

Swinger joins AmeriSuites from Embassy Suites Hotels in Nashville, where he was Senior Corporate Sales Manager, with responsibility for corporate rate negotiations and bookings. Prior to that, Swinger managed corporate and government/association sales at Maxwell House Hotel and Holiday Inn Select, both in Nashville.
