Mr. Pendergast joined Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in 1994 where he held his most recent position as hotel manager for The Fairmont New Orleans.

Prior to his tenure with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Pendergast joined Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 1984 where he held several progressive positions during a 10-year period throughout New Orleans, Atlanta, South Carolina and Dallas. In 1992, Mr. Pendergast joined The Omni Hotel at Charleston Place, Charleston, S.C., as Director of Rooms. He held the position until 1994 when he moved to Columbia, S.C., as Executive Assistant Manager for Adam's Mark Hotel Columbia.

Mr. Pendergast is a graduate of Florida State University, Tallahassee, and holds a Bachelor of Science, Hotel and Restaurant Administration. He currently resides in Overland Park, Kan., with his wife, Caroline, and three daughters, Brooke, Claire and Katie.
