BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - March 27, 2002 - Hilton Hotels Corporation
announced its top developers during its Full-Service Brand Conference for
Hilton®, Doubletree® and Embassy Suites Hotels®, held in San
Francisco, March 21-23, 2002.
Each full-service brand within the Hilton Family of Hotels recognized a Developer of the Year acknowledging a developer who had the greatest number of project approvals or who developed one or more unique hotels that helped enhance the brands' image in 2001. To be considered as Developer of the Year, the candidates' Hilton-family portfolio of hotels had to be high-quality and in good status, and could represent a combination of new projects, renovations and conversions. The recipients of the Developer of the Year award were:

Doubletree The Busch Firm/Imperial Hotel Group, represented by Timothy Busch, J.D./CPA, developed the 256-room Doubletree Santa Ana which recently opened on January 16, 2002. The Doubletree Santa Ana is a complement to the initial Busch Firm development in Orange County, the 252-room Doubletree Hotel Irvine Spectrum (opened 7/99). Both properties represent the guest commitment to service, quality and personal attention to detail. The Busch Firm is currently working with Hilton Hotels Corporation on future Doubletree Hotel projects in Long Beach and Aliso Viejo, Calif. Embassy Suites Hotels Corporex Realty & Investments Corporation, represented by William Butler, executive vice president, has developed nine hotels with the Hilton Family of Hotels, including two Embassy Suites Hotels in Ohio during the past 18 months: the 284-suite Embassy Suites Hotel Columbus/Dublin (opened 11/00) and the 271-suite Embassy Suites Hotel Cleveland/Independence (opened 10/01). Together with Commonwealth Hotels, which manages hotels, Corporex will open the 174-suite Embassy Suites Hotel at Denver International Airport, scheduled to open in early 2003. Since as early as 1990, Corporex has opened Embassy Suites Hotels at Tampa Airport, Tampa, Fla. and Cincinnati/River Center, Covington, Ky.
