Arapahoe Inn in Keystone, Colorado Rebrands from
Independent to GuestHouse International Franchise

Atlanta, GA; March 7, 2002 - GuestHouse International Franchise Systems, the owner-friendly franchise, announced today the recent opening of the brand's first location in Colorado. The 60-room two-story GuestHouse International Inn in Keystone is located within walking distance to the ski lifts of the Keystone Mountains, the third largest ski resort in the U.S. The hotel is also the closest lodging facility to the Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort, the oldest ski resort in Colorado. 

Formerly an independent property, the owner of the Arapahoe Inn saw an opportunity to affiliate with a national brand without having to pay excessive fees or commit to a long, one-sided license agreement. Owner Roman Kowalewicz said, "We chose the GuestHouse International brand because of their owner-friendly philosophy. Their flat fee structure, property level support and fresh image made them stand out as the right choice."

The GuestHouse International Arapahoe Inn the newest lodging property in the town of Keystone, a year-round destination resort featuring skiing, golfing and biking. Keystone is also a primary location for conferences, of which 600 took place in the prestigious Keystone Conference Center last year. The Inn features a hot tub, dry heat sauna, and ski closets. Every guestroom includes an efficiency area with a microwave and refrigerator.
