HONG KONG, March 27, 2002 - The international
luxury hotel group, Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, has announced the
management of a new hotel in Hong Kong. Le Meridien @ Cyberport,
the flagship hotel in Hong Kong for Le Meridien, will spearhead Le Meridien's
expansion into the fast-growing North Asian market.
The unique design of the hotel's guestrooms will be compatible with Le Meridien's Art + Tech Concept, providing today's travelers with a unique contemporary environment in which to work and play, in addition to unparalleled stylish service. While the hotel's overall theme will be closely integrated with the surrounding architectural elements and design styles found throughout Cyberport, ample consideration is given to the need to create a respite for weary travelers. In addition, Le Meridien guests will have access to the many sophisticated telecommunications services available to members of the Cyberport community, including an optical network that provides ultra high-speed Internet connections for all tenants and residents, Satellite Master Antenna Television System that boasts as many as 120 channels of satellite television broadcasting, and a Cyberportal on which up-to-date Cyberport and local news will be posted.
