Dolce International Targets Leisure Travelers for
their Conference Center Hotels
MONTVALE, NEW JERSEY (August 9, 2001). Leading conference center company Dolce International is launching Dolce Leisure Learning at seven of its 17 properties. Two- to seven-day trips, these packages are designed for todays leisure travelers who are looking for short vacations within a reasonable driving distance from home and no-hassle, planned experiences that provide mental stimulation with relaxation.

Developed in partnership with the leading travel professionals of Traveling America, each guest receives a Personal Travel Portfolio customized to their specific tastes and needs. It includes accommodations at a Dolce property, admission to key activities and destinations, restaurant arrangements or recommendations, four-color articles offering insight into the areas to be explored, and suggestions for further reading material.  To further accommodate guests, the Personal Travel Portfolio also includes customized maps complete with driving directions and practical area information.

Explains Dolce International Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Andrew Dolce, We see Dolce Leisure Learning packages as a perfect complement to our properties. Although corporate meetings are our core business; every Dolce property also has unique attractions and features for leisure travelers. Dolce Leisure Learning is a program very much in keeping with our Corporate vision: To be the global leader in learning through meetings and leisure.

Adds Chief Marketing Officer Jo Ann Swahn, Were finding that Baby Boomers are looking for a very different travel experience than prior generations. They have discretionary income but less time. They want shorter vacations that do not require air travel. However, these travelers are well educated and want to enlighten themselves while on vacation. Our Dolce Leisure Learning packages present myriad cultural, historic and artistic opportunities while including time to relax and enjoy our full-service, deluxe properties.

Dolce Leisure Learning packages are currently being offered at Dolce Hamilton Park in Florham Park, New Jersey; Dolce Tarrytown House in Tarrytown, New York; Dolce Heritage in Southbury, Connecticut; Dolce Skamania in the Columbia River Gorge, Washington; Lakeway Inn in Austin, Texas; Oak Brook Hills Resort in Oak Brook, Illinois, and Hastings Hotel in Hartford, Connecticut.
