DALLAS - May 21, 2001-- Wyndham International, Inc.
(NYSE:WYN) continues to expand its presence in Chicago with the conversion
of one of the area's largest suburban business and meeting hotels to the
Wyndham brand.
Also, the Wyndham Lisle's lobby, front desk and porte cochere entrance
will be renovated Fall 2001.
Amenities include high-speed Internet access, two-line 900 MHz cordless telephones, ergonomic Herman Miller(R) Aeron desk chairs, pillow-top Serta(R) mattresses dressed with duvets or coverlets, pillow shams, bed skirts and decorative pillows. James R. Henderson has been appointed general manager of the Wyndham Lisle and Tim Gustafson has been named area director of sales and marketing. Together, they bring more than 23 years of hospitality experience, including previous management experience with Wyndham. The Wyndham Lisle is the eleventh Wyndham-branded hotel in the Chicago
area. Other locations include the 417-room Wyndham Chicago in downtown,
the 408-room Wyndham Northwest Chicago in Itasca, the 219-room Ambassador
West - A Wyndham Historic Hotel in downtown, the 160-room Wyndham Drake
in Oak Brook, the 155-room Wyndham Garden Hotel in Buffalo Grove, the 143-room
Wyndham Garden Hotel in Naperville, the 188-room Wyndham Garden Hotel in
