Due to the membership boom, applications to join SLH will now be accepted throughout the year instead of only in August.  Prospective members are approaching SLH at a rate of twenty to thirty a month, but strict criteria for inclusion limit the success rate to a small number of these applicants. 

"We will never accept the short-termist hotelier who opens a new property without a specific investment strategy demonstrating that the levels of amenities and services will be maintained," states Brian Mills, Managing Director of SLH.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World is a consortium of 284 quality hotels in more than 50 countries.  Member hotels are selected for level of service provided and attention to personal detail.
