Anaheim’s four-diamond hotel market will have a new destination available to guests in early 2020 when a luxury hotel opens at 1030 West Katella Avenue at the site of the existing Anabella Hotel. The Anabella Hotel will close in mid-August and the new hotel will begin construction soon after.

The new hotel, located immediately adjacent to the almost-completed, expanding Anaheim Convention Center (grand opening expected in September of 2017), will offer a premium destination currently unavailable to both convention and Resort travelers to Anaheim.

Guests will enjoy over 600 rooms of four-diamond accommodations including over 100 suites and a lavish Presidential Suite unlike any other room in the Anaheim market today.

Over 41,000 square feet of meeting space, perfect for business events, corporate retreats, and headquarters facilities for larger meetings at the adjacent convention center, will be available on the site. The latest in meeting technology and highest quality banquet catering will ensure that guests’ activities will be second-to-none.

When the day’s events are done, over 23,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, accommodating both the casual and elegant diner, will be waiting, along with a rooftop bar and lounge.

For leisure travelers seeking a break from, or relaxation after, a day in Anaheim’s theme parks, unwinding in the tropical outdoor spaces or at either of two luxury pools await. Poolside dining and lounges will ensure that every day in Anaheim will be a great day for vacation travel. State of the art gym and workout facilities will also be available for guests.

“We are really excited to elevate the Anaheim experience with this new hotel in the heart of Anaheim’s Resort,” said Paul Sanford, Asset Manager for Wincome Group. “The Anaheim market for higher-end convention and leisure travelers is ready for a destination like this.”

A brand and flag for the new hotel is expected to be named soon, added Sanford.
