Speranza Brings More than 20 Years of Senior Hospitality Experience to Latest Hotel Destination in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg Neighborhood

BROOKLYN, NY – JULY 7, 2015The William Vale, the 21-story hotel rising in Brooklyn’s dynamic Williamsburg neighborhood, announced today the appointment of Mark Speranza as Director of Sales and Marketing for the hotel located on 55 Wythe Avenue. Speranza, an accomplished hospitality executive with nearly 20 years of New York-based experience, will oversee the hotel’s sales team, determine strategy alongside the general manager and maximize sales activities for the hotel.

Speranza brings more than nearly two decades of New York-based experience including senior leadership positions with Millennium Hotels, IHG, Mandarin Oriental and Regent International. From 2009 to 2013, Mark served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental New York Barclay, reinvigorating the corporate-owned hotel to record levels of performance and profitability. Most recently, Speranza served as the Director of Memberships with Club Quarters, where he managed a cohesive team within the organization that offers 17 full-service hotels with membership benefits.

As well, his experience includes grand opening expertise, specifically at the Regent Wall Street in Manhattan’s revitalized Financial District. Additionally, Speranza has managed sales teams from five to 20 members, covered domestic and international territories and developed key strategic partnerships with like-minded brands.

Speranza received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Pace University. He resides in Westchester with his wife and two daughters, and is active in local fund raising, youth coaching and classic car events.
