DENVER – (NOVEMBER 10, 2017)The Ramble Hotel is proud to announce the appointment of Andrew Guerra as general manager. As general manager, Guerra will be responsible for developing processes and systems to successfully open the 50-room hotel, and upon opening will manage overall hotel operations.

Located at 1280 25th St., just north of Downtown Denver, The Ramble Hotel will be independently owned and operated, and will be among the first to open in the burgeoning RiNo neighborhood. Known for its blend of urban grit and industrial revival, RiNo’s historic warehouses and factories now house jazz bars, restaurants, brewpubs, art galleries and working studios.

“We are excited to have Andrew join the team,” said Ryan Diggins, founder of The Ramble Hotel, and partner of Gravitas Development Group. “Andrew’s experience with highly esteemed hospitality brands alongside his proven ability to manage operations at both large resorts and smaller urban hotels, will prove invaluable to ensure systems run smoothly to deliver a top-notch guest experience.”

Guerra, who began his hospitality career in Colorado, was most recently a director at Montage Deer Valley in Park City, UT., a five-star five-diamond luxury resort that is part of Montage International. Here, Guerra oversaw daily operations including guest reception, guest relations and guest services. Guerra was also responsible for recruiting and hiring; budgeting and forecasting; and streamlining processes to increase efficiencies.

Prior to working at Montage Deer Valley, Guerra held various positions within Sage Hospitality—a leading hospitality management company based in Denver—at several of the group’s notable properties, including The Crawford Hotel and The Oxford Hotel in Denver, Colo., as well as the Nines, a Starwood Luxury Collection Hotel in Portland, OR.

“I have enjoyed returning to my Colorado roots, and am looking forward to opening The Ramble Hotel,” said Guerra. “I am confident much of the hospitality acumen I’ve gathered over the years, coupled with The Ramble’s distinct personality and approach to guest experience, will position it as one of the most sought-after hotels not only within the state, but in the U.S.”

Guerra began his career with Vail Resorts Hospitality. He holds a B.S. in Restaurant and Resort Management from Colorado State University, as well as a Certificate of Financial Management from Cornell University.
