Edmonds, Wash. June 28, 2016 The Hotel Group (THG) is proud to welcome Eric McCarthy as Vice President of Hotel Accounting and Don Haggerty as Vice President of Renovations and Construction. Both new executives joined earlier this year and will be focused on furthering the mission of THG in a high performing year. The company sees accelerated growth in the coming months ahead.


McCarthy joins THG to oversee the company’s hotel accounting operation including day to day oversight of the accounting functions, internal controls, and strategic planning. With over twenty years of experience in both hotel and corporate roles directly dealing in accounting, centralized finance environments, hotel operations, project management, and operational analysis, he will work closely with the company’s operations, development, and renovation teams. McCarthy previously worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He holds a CHAE designation (Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive) from Hospitality Finance and Technical Professionals (HFTP) and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. In addition, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from West Texas A&M University, as well as multiple Associates degrees in Business and International Business.

Haggerty is an experienced Director of Project Management and Engineering specializing in preventative maintenance, capital projects, green seal, quality and life safety management, capital and monthly budgeting for the hospitality, healthcare and construction industries. He brings vast knowledge in commercial, industrial, residential and public facilities compliances. Haggerty’s previous experience includes Crescent Management Company. He holds a Non-Restricted Construction Supervisor’s license and Real Estate Sales license as well as the following certifications: TQM, Safety Management, Welder and Builder and Pool Operator. Haggerty graduated with a A.A. Business Administration degree from Massasoit Community college.
