Colorado Springs, CO — May 21, 2015 The Broadmoor, a Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond resort, is pleased to announce the addition of Alison J. McDermott to the position of Director of Marketing. Joining an already prestigious team, Ms. McDermott brings an extensive background in hotel and resort communications, including experience in integrated marketing, public relations, on and offline advertising, partnerships, digital strategy, branding and business positioning.

Most recently, Ms. McDermott was the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort & Spa, A Destination Hotel. Her responsibilities included aligning an integrated marketing and public relations effort to bring the “hotel within a hotel” concept to life as Eden Roc partnered with Nobu Hospitality.

Previously, Ms. McDermott was the Director of Marketing Communications for Montelucia Resort & Spa, part of KSL Resorts, and also worked on the marketing team for the western region of resorts for Marriott International, inclusive of their luxury tiered resort brands in the west.
