February 03, 2014 -OWENSBORO, Ky. and MCLEAN, Va. - Hampton Hotels, Hilton Worldwide's global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Hampton by Hilton hotels, today announced the official opening of its newest property, the 150-room Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/ Waterfront located at 401 West Second Street.

The hotel is owned by Bryant Downtown Hotel, LLC.  It is the second Hampton property in the Owensboro area and the 33rd in the state.  Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront brings 40 new jobs to the area.

The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Smothers Park and Owensboro Convention Center. Located off US 60, the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront offers easy access to shopping, dining, entertainment and attractions, including the Owensboro Museum of Science and History and the International Bluegrass Music Museum.
