Offering 135 spacious studio suites, the hotel is scheduled to open at exit 40 of I-295 in the Laurel Corporate Center of Mt. Laurel, N.J.

LANCASTER, PA. (October 2016) – Lancaster, Pa.-based High Hotels Ltd. and local officials joined together with honored guests to celebrate the “topping off” for a SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel, signifying that the final beam has been placed and that the structural framework is complete.

The new Mt. Laurel SpringHill Suites, slated to open March of 2017, will introduce the brand’s latest progressive design, which features sleek contemporary décor along with comforts like luxurious bedding and enhanced food and fitness choices – options that today’s discerning travelers require to make travel more enjoyable.

Attendees for the ‘topping off’ event included Linda Bobo, Mayor of Mt. Laurel; Kristi Howell, President/CEO of Burlington County Chamber of Commerce; and Devon Perry, Executive Director of Visit South Jersey.

The 135 all-suite hotel, for which High Hotels will serve as owner and operator, is the latest addition to Laurel Corporate Center in Mt. Laurel, N.J. The corporate center is home to more than 876,000 square feet of Class-A office space. Four new restaurants will also share the new hotel site, conveniently accessed by exit 40 of I-295 at NJ State Route 38.

The general contractor for the project is High Construction Company based in Lancaster Pa., and the architect is Newcomer Associates of Chambersburg, Pa. The $17.9-million dollar project will provide approximately 40 full- and part-time jobs in the community.

Each spacious studio suite will feature a dedicated work space with a full-sized desk, separate soft seating area with a comfortable trundle-style sleeper sofa, flat screen LCD TV, luxurious bedding, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and business center will help keep guests connected throughout their stay.

Other features include a complimentary breakfast buffet, indoor pool, outdoor patio and fire pit, guest lounge offering evening lite fare and beverages, meeting facility, and 24-hour fitness center. A 24-hour convenience market will serve guests who want a quick on-the-go snack. SpringHill Suites participates in the award-winning Marriott Rewards® frequent travel program.

This project marks High Hotels’ second Marriott brand hotel development in New Jersey.
