A pioneer in the no-frills, back-to-basics, limited-service concept and the fastest growing international hotel chain – now with 13 properties across the country – Microtel by Wyndham strategically positions itself in every key tourist and business hub in the Philippines. It is the sole Microtel by Wyndham franchise in Asia belonging to the Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest and most diverse hotel company with 7,540 hotels worldwide in 71 countries under 17 hotel brands.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, the guests were formally welcomed by Jeffrey Ng of Cathay Land together with his wife Vivian Ng and Jose Mari del Rosario of Microtel Inns & Suites (Pilipinas) Inc. In his remarks, Mr. del Rosario said: “This location was among our priority areas when we started building Microtel hotels more than a decade ago. It’s a truly worthwhile wait as South Forbes has the ingredients we look for: accessibility to the booming technopark with its multinational corporate market. The safety & security offered to the locators of this growing business community makes this such an ideal place. Finding the right partner who developed this master-planned community was of paramount importance. As I’ve said many times, the Metro Sta.Rosa growth area is one emerging hub where we should be present. Microtel had to be here.”

Microtel established their hotel properties all over the Philippine archipelago, providing a much needed jump-off point for tourists to discover the countryside and business professionals to expand their networks. The company is 100 percent Filipino managed and is successful in fusing Filipino hospitality with Wyndham’s global standards.
