Main Street Hospitality Group Appoints Lindsey Struck as General Manager of New Hotel on North

Hotel on North is owned by David Tierney III and his wife Laurie Tierney of MM&D LLC and managed by Main Street Hospitality Group, owner and operator of the renowned Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA, The Porches at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA and The Williams Inn in Williamstown, MA.
Struck brings 20 years of New England hospitality experience, serving most recently as the director of rooms at the Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club in Brewster, MA. Previously, she held leadership roles at Castle Hill Inn in Newport, RI and Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino in Uncasville, CT.
“Lindsey has a deep history of working at New England properties that are very much a part of the fabric of the community,” said Bruce Finn, chief operating officer of Main Street Hospitality Group. “Hotel on North is a collaboration of two Berkshire family businesses and countless other local craftsmen, a legacy that Lindsey understands and embraces. She is a perfect fit for the property and we’re thrilled to welcome her to Hotel on North.”
Located in a pair of buildings that date from the 1880s and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Hotel on North celebrates the buildings’ heritage with original and refurbished finishes as well as an eclectic and creative mix of furnishings and décor from the workshops of local artists and artisans. The unique footprints of the 45 guest rooms lend design character to the overall guest experience by creating a variety of cozy nooks and dramatic spaces. The hotel is also home to Eat and Drink on North, the hotel’s globally inspired, locally sourced restaurant and bar with menus designed by James Beard featured Executive Chef Brian Alberg.
“Hotel on North will help establish Pittsfield and its downtown arts district as a four season destination with ample meeting space for area businesses and nearby activities and cultural experiences for leisure guests,” said Struck.
Struck resides in Pittsfield, MA. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and her dogs, is an avid photographer and paints landscapes.
